Meet Dr. Ferguson

Dr. David Ferguson was born in Houston, Texas. After growing up in the Bay Area of California, he moved to Austin, Texas in 1968 where he completed high school. He attended Austin College in Sherman, Texas and following graduation he attended Baylor College of Dentistry. After earning his DDS degree, Dr. Ferguson completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Dallas rotating through Parkland Hospital in Dallas, John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth, Scottish Rite Hospital Dallas and Children’s Hospital. He then attended a Periodontal Residency at Baylor Medical Center obtaining a Masters Degree from Baylor University Waco at the same time he completed his Certificate in Periodontal Residency. For 14 years in a row he has had the honor of being selected as a “Super Dentist” by his peers according to the Texas Monthly Magazine’s Best Dentists list.

Dr. Ferguson is married with 3 children and 2 grandchildren. He spends his free time sailing, painting, playing the guitar, and working with Manos de Cristo Dental Clinic.

               Meet Dr. Klepper

Dr. Kandice L. Klepper was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania.She attended Mount St. Mary’s University
and completed her bachelors in Biochemistry.  She later attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia.  While she was earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery, she was honored to serve as the President of the Student Governance Council and founded a Periodontics Interest Group.  During dental school, Dr. Klepper was the recipient of the International College of Dentists Leadership Award and the F.B. Wiebush Award of Excellence in Periodontics.   

 

Following dental school, Dr. Klepper completed her specialty training in Periodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and earned her Master’s degree in Dental Science.  Her clinical research focused on Laser Therapy and Periodontal Wound Healing.  During her residency she was selected to receive the Nobel Biocare Student Member Scholarship and the Dr. Ray Scott Carus Dental Endowment Specialty Scholarship. 

 

Dr. Klepper has specialty training in comprehensive periodontal care, dental implants, periodontal plastic surgery, dental laser therapy, full mouth rehabilitation, advanced bone grafting, and received extensive training and certification in intravenous conscious sedation and advanced cardiac life support.  Dr. Klepper is board eligible for the American Board of Periodontology. 

 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and close friends as well as hiking, paddle boarding, traveling and community service.  Dr. Klepper is very excited to be living in Austin, exploring all the area, and becoming a part of this wonderful community.
